Well, I told you I’d tell you how the studio went tonight. Let’s just say I’m here right now and I’m ready to break something. Lots of somethings would be nice.

I just don’t know how much more I can take of this. I am so frustrated that my voice isn’t working. I can’t sing on pitch, and I can’t focus on putting in emotion cause I’m so focused on singing the right notes. I really don’t know what to do. I seriously wanna hurt something, or yell really loud. Maybe even scream. But, I probably won’t. Instead I’ll just tell you about how I’d like to do those things. Hopefully that will take some of the stress away. I think I might go see a movie now. So, this may sound weird, but today I took a forty-five minute shower bath. It’s my latest thing to get rid of the phlegm in my throat. I have to get rid of it so that I can sing in the studio. I’m actually supposed to be going there later today. So, as suggested by my voice teacher (sorta-I modified it slightly), I took a nice long bath with the bathroom door shut. I didn’t turn on the fan because I wanted the room to get as steamy as possible. Then I got in the water, and turned on the shower (it was very refreshing). I tried to breathe in the air and use it as a way to moisten my vocal chords. This is really weird telling you all about this. If we ever run into each other we can have a long discussion about how well it actually went (and I can give you more details that I’m sure most readers won’t want to know). Anyway, I’m feeling a little better now. I didn’t get rid of all of the phlegm, but I think I got rid of some of it. I will most likely be trying this again later today or tomorrow, because I have to get my voice into singing condition and pronto.

After I was done I went to work and checked to see how the website is doing. People are still getting term life insurance quotes online. Which is good, cause that’s what my real job (the one where I make the money) is all about. Right now I’m actually at the life insurance office working. My employer loves it when I show up. He actually told me so as he was leaving right after I got here. Hopefully we will continue to raise in the search results and I can continue to make more money. Anyway, I’ll tell you all later how the studio went.
